The store’s history
From the imagination of architects Lluís Cantallops and Elies Torres, the first Pilma store in Barcelona was born in 1974, located at 1 València street, very close to plaza de España and Sants station. It quickly became a meeting point for lovers of designer furniture, decoration, and interior design in the city.
Originally, Pilma Valencia had an exhibition area of over 2,000 m² , which was expanded to the current 3,000 m² in the 1980s.
Pilma Valencia was a finalist in the prestigious FAD Interior Design Awards in 1974.
Pilma Valencia is located a 1-minute walk from the current Pilma outlet.
